In the light of the moon
alittle egg lay on a leaf.
一颗小小的卵，
One Sunday morning,
and -POP!
-out of the egg came a tiny and very hungry caterpillar.
“啵”一声，
He started to look for some food.
On Monday ，
he ate through one apple,
But he was still hungry.
它啃了一个苹果。
肚子还是好饿。
he ate through two pears,
But he was still hungry.
它啃穿了两个梨子，
肚子还是好饿。
he ate through three plums,
But he was still hungry.
它啃穿了两个李子，
肚子还是好饿。
he ate through four strawberries,
But he was still hungry.
它啃穿了四个草莓，
肚子还是好饿。
he ate through five oranges,
But he was still hungry.
它啃穿了五个橘子，
肚子还是好饿。
he ate through
one piece of chocalate cake,
one pickle,
one slice of Swiss cheese,
星期六，
一块巧克力蛋糕，
一条酸黄瓜，
一截萨拉米香肠，
one piece of cherry pie,
one cupcake,
and one slice of watermelon.
一角樱桃馅饼，
一只杯形蛋糕，
That night he had a stomachache!
The next day was Sunday again.
The caterpillar ate through one nice gree leaf,
and after that he felt much better.
毛毛虫啃穿了一片可爱的绿树叶，
Now he wasn't hungry any more
-and he wasn't a little caterpillar any more.
He was a big, fat caterpillar.
--他也不再是一条小毛虫了。
He built a small housecalled a cocoon,
He stayed inside for more than two weeks.
Then he nibbled a hole in the cocoon,
pushed his way out and...
他绕着自己的身子，造了一座叫做“茧”的小房子。
然后，
钻了出来......
